I can only imagine how stressful it is for you to receive the complaints from the neighbors and radio silence from the people you are paying to be your eyes, ears enforcers and allies.

At some point, the effects are likely to be felt, but they're 'suffering in silence' at the moment (like the people I'm buying the house from).

I have a hard time not talking when there is silence but silence really can be golden, as I'm starting to find out.  

I did learn that sometimes silence is golden.
