This is now true of several other unit owners I have spoken to over the past few weeks; They are all sick and tired of being harassed and/or bullied by the HOA and simply want to have nothing to do with it anymore.Interestingly enough, I learned the reasoning behind the new imposition about two months ago when I went to the AGM.

.- Harass, coerce, intimidate, or interfere with anyone exercising a fair housing right or assisting others to exercise their fair housing rights.- Discriminate in the advertising of a house or apartment.- Treat you differently based on the source of your income.- Fail to aggregate income of all persons in the household for purposes of qualifying for a rental or home purchase.

*update: The homeowner is falsely stating I am harassing the tenant.

Some investors will harass you every other day just to check on their investment.  

I called them up and they aid it could take up to a month to do, this was unacceptable to me and I harassed then until they did it, it took two days, but I was coming up to my lock deadline and had to extend.

You can randomly move money around all you want, and I'll keep doing my job and harassing you for updated bank statements, and keep sending it back to be re-underwritten, and we will never close until you stop it.

We had called twenty times and left messages and emailed, and eventually our harassment paid off.

2) clearly I want to avoid legal action, however it's clear the owner is able to manage the place- what is the balance between honestly helping the owner vs the harassment they are concerned with?
