I can also see the airlines pushing this as it is a risk for them to have untrained dogs on a plane.

Like rent control etc.also you can just follow along with what the airlines do.We just went through this in Los Angeles with helping youngest daughter get an apartment.. she has a service dog ( epilepsy) these dogs are trained and are needed by folks.. the manager knew that he could not deny ... but the owner calls me when I am on the road in Indy and starts to make all these excuses why she can't be there.. he knows the laws but starts to bring up other issues. he has the manager bring our check back to our daughter... ( they have given her the keys) and she is living in the unit albeit for 5 hours)... but they try to unwind it.

Whoops after clicking through 6 pages of checkout (at least Airbnb put it on the first page of checkout) it looks like that's actually going to be $235.Airline companies show the price for the stripped version of sub-basic economy now, then upcharge for main economy, seats, bags, etc as you go.Heck even Target I can try and buy a $5 coffee mug and it doesn't tell me it's actually $11.36 after tax and shipping until the submit order page.

In this structure you rent the home like normal but you give the renter "point" (kind of like Southwest Airlines frequent flyer miles) for every month that they pay on time and they can save these up and use them to buy the home -- same as cash -- if they want to.

My airline didn't have a problem with it, it isn't unusual for pilots to live in different parts of the world and commute to work. After a lot and lots of reading (and I've been reading blog posts on BP since 2014 without any action until last month!)
