Nina V. Section 8 and income as a protected class

If you have a one year lease, section 8 will honor it and not authorize the tenant to move ( unless of course there are issues with repairs not being made by the landlord etc)These are just a few of the things that come to mind but there obviously more pros and cons.The reality is my best tenant is section and my worst tenant is also section 8!!!

Unchecked growth is what can be bad for your health, or even dangerous, and most of the worst molds need a constant source of water rather than just average air humidity.

I am looking for a fixer-upper and have read that dealing with their HAND dept for the rehab loan is the worst part of the deal, but for the savings I am willing to give it a go.

@Priyanka K.The worst thing you can do is not meet the 30 day deadline as the penalty is potentially 3x the amount of the deposit I would either take the first address that was given and send it there or give them 24 hours to agree on an address and send it tomorrow .

But, you still never know, in my minor experience with local politics its always a toss-up, and it always seems that rates go up and not down in RI.Glad to know I'm not the only one in this boat but it would certainly put a very big damper on my first investment if the worst case does come to pass.

For me the worst case scenario is now a guaranteed roof over our heads with no major bills (granted Cali property taxes at 1% are not insignificant).
