they are harder to sell than a well-planned layout.i'm an Architect, so your options are Architect, Residential Designer, Interior Designer, maybe a Design-Build Contractor.

Did you use a designer/architect for the remodel or just the GC?

Or have a structural engineer or an architect go out there and say that there is nothing wrong with how you put in the window and that its plum, sealed tight and water proof and write that in their professional opinion that its okay. 

Your architect will then design the house to make sense. 

We like to use flat paint to dull the sheen and the color is more prominent than the texture.
