This may sound cold and harsh but I think it is reality.You can't really focus on being an investor if you don't know where your next meal is coming from, so I would focus on that part of the equation first.

Tenants tend to either lose or break the remote or rip down the pull chain...but the biggest concern I have is the actual install and support.Almost every time I take down a ceiling fan, I found these older installs were not properly supported.

I have brokered a few when I lived there and sold property.it becomes a ball and chain for the owner.. most of the time they are bought with cash.. and or like this owner financed ... and folks semi retire and run them .. but they work themwithout seeing all the numbers 130k of gross revenue for a small resort is pretty small..
