I would add that an inordinate number of the properties I happen to look up in Harris County Property Tax Records still lack data for current tax year and may not display payments for previous years.

Got a question for those of you that have bidded on and purchased REO properties off of Hubzu.When they have a "Own It Now" price displayed, if I was to win the auction for less (much less) than the Own It Now price, is their counter going to be a little less than that, or is that just going to be what they counter with regardless in your experience?

I can sum it up this way: I have yet to see ANYthing which does not display this one fatal shortcoming - REAL big on the "what to do" and "why to do it", but they all fall flat on the "how to do it".
