To add a perspective, I know it doesn't seem obvious in the US but the demographics are strongly in favor of growth for India (very young skew in population and huge demo growth - even china is aging and slowing in demo-terms compared with India.)

Your area and location will determine much of your revenue, looking at major cities, demographic, and distance from popular tourist attractions. as for the structures.

That type of data tends to be better for your ROI than Facebook's default demographic/interest-based data. 

The South and Midwest and parts of the East Coast have inexpensive homes, but cheap doesn't automatically mean better as the housing stock is much older and the demographics and market trends much different.

@Jacob G.I think it depends on the demographics you are serving.

The entire DFW metro has a tailwind at it's back from the perspective of macro demographic and economic trends.

IMO, 2 bed 1 bath are superior to 1 bed 1 bath as it allows more flexibility as to rental demographics (people can have a guest bedroom, an office, a kids room, etc.).Sounds like you're looking to build.

The cash flow is strong and it still has good economic and demographic trends.
