what I love about this is all the up front, real world expense, resulting noi info. it helps all of us to then understand what really happens. even if you have done multiple deals for many years, none of us knows it all and it is great to share notes.thank you all!

In the REI world, that means cut your losses, take your assumed appreciation now (before the mounting losses take that away), and move into an investment that makes money from the start.You're right, I don't think much of rationalizing how tax deductions (if it was a tax credit I would have greater appreciation for it), and a paid down principal (added equity that you can't use until you sell...so it's basically a trophy).  

Wholesaling is easily said the hardest thing to do right in the RE world. 

I am new Investor to Big Pockets, I have had some experience in the Investor world and want to continue to grow my business in the near future.

I am working a few of them now and i just closed 2 Ocwen short Sales this month.Ocwen can be a huge pain in the butt, a majority of the employees there if not all of them are from another part of the world.

And I plan to do a project like this each year (or 2)I'm here to read and learn about experiences from you all around the world, and also get advices even if laws are differents in each country, main business is the same.I travel often in USA so maybe one day I will start investing there :)Hope to get in touch with many interesting people here
