You can always call individual sub-contractors (Roofers, electricians, tile workers, cabinet guys, countertop guys, painters, landscapers, HVAC techs, etc) and just ask over the phone for at least a ball park estimate of what the costs are.

I have my eyes on a great looking property with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with the land size being 25 ft X 105 ft.The property is old and was built in 1960 though and it definitely looks like it needs some upgrades like better kitchen with modern cabinets, better flooring (currently red carpets) and some slight remodeling to the bathrooms.

Talk to a rental company, they may help.A few months without rental income is fine and should be expected (vacancy), use that time to clean up the place paint, cabinets, LED lights, etc. and get more money.
