Sometimes kitchen cabinets can be freshened up with some paint. 

You can always call individual sub-contractors (Roofers, electricians, tile workers, cabinet guys, countertop guys, painters, landscapers, HVAC techs, etc) and just ask over the phone for at least a ball park estimate of what the costs are.

I have my eyes on a great looking property with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with the land size being 25 ft X 105 ft.The property is old and was built in 1960 though and it definitely looks like it needs some upgrades like better kitchen with modern cabinets, better flooring (currently red carpets) and some slight remodeling to the bathrooms. 

WE paint a lot of our cabinets.  

The other 3 sit in the filing cabinet. 

Immediately after closing, we went to the home and started ripping out cabinets and carpets.

Talk to a rental company, they may help.A few months without rental income is fine and should be expected (vacancy), use that time to clean up the place paint, cabinets, LED lights, etc. and get more money. 

We renovated the whole place and replaced everything: 3 new windows, 5 news doors, luxury vinyl plank across the bedroom/living room, tile across all kitchen/bathroom, brand new bathtub/vanity/kitchen cabinets/stainless appliances/light fixtures/window AC.

The cabinets are in good condition.

In many cases, the material used for the flooring, cabinets, counter-tops, tiles, paint and all that... it's all the same stuff!
