BRRRR Investing on Old Properties

Hi everyone! I have my eyes on a great looking property with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with the land size being 25 ft X 105 ft.

The property is old and was built in 1960 though and it definitely looks like it needs some upgrades like better kitchen with modern cabinets, better flooring (currently red carpets) and some slight remodeling to the bathrooms.

My question is, is investing in significantly older properties a bad idea just because of the headache they might bring or are they actually great BRRRR investments??

Would appreciate anyone's insights.

Best,

Tanveer
