Now, if Doug or Dave wants to address my speculations, that's fine, but I won't be won over until I hear the RE topics taught.For example: What investors need to know about different types of deeds and when they should be used.Surveying issues that investors should know.Agency law and how investors should work with Realtors, what the agency relationships are.Fair Trade Act and impacts on RERESPA, Dodd-Frank, TILA, state regulations, UCC filings, what predatory dealing and lending covers.Business law, contract law, torts, criminal acts applicable to RE and how to avoid liability.How to structure a lease-option, requirements of a legal option contract and when to use them (meaning too, when not to use them)Physical, economic, financial aspects of RE, how to use easements to make money, how easements are established and by what authority.This stuff is an education in real estate people, not some sales script, or Subject To settlement or pitch.While I do see instructs from the title insurance and escrow arena, that doesn't mean they are teaching all the requirements an escrow must be compliant in, they may talk about wholesaling, but when is it appropriate and when is it not?
