While I agree with Rich Dad Poor Dad, I found that books like "Lifeonaire" and "The 4 Hour Work Week" were great books that instead of focusing on the actual "business and real estate" side of things, it gave a better picture of what your life could be like if you were financially independent could work on your own schedule.

I was finally able to reduce my work week to 40 hours Tuesday-Friday.

If your income is based on a 40 hour work week, can you find a part time job to pick up another 20-30 hours or can you pick up extra shifts where you already work?

I don't allow any TV to be on in the house except the one in the office, otherwise I might walk through the living room, see something interesting, sit down and lose an hour).I have a scheduled lunch, etc,,,I have a regular work week,,,do I ever have lunch with friends, sure I would do that at a regular job,,,but letting yourself sleep late, not getting ready for the day before you "go to work' etc, for me, can start bad habits.andy
