@Tiffany Makiya- you wont want to refinance your priamry home and lose the 2.875%  rate .....I would suggest  getting a heloc in place for  as much as possible to use for your remodel and funds to use in your  investment plans ...... see what the highest  heloc  you can qualify and obtain .....many heloc lenders have  max limits on helocs  like  200K  250K some  are  higher

It needs to be remodeled but I am willing to give it to anyone that will move it from the property.

The same would be said for the plumbing work, however I would not be doing much besides typical toilet, faucet, and sink repairs. 

Hello,I'm considering remodeling my current home and eventually renting it out when we purchase a new place for our selves.

We remodeled it, and sold it for around $36,100 in profit.

I have ideas, but I am not an expert when it comes to conceptualizing a remodel.
