I'm a physician and that's all we do (spoiler alert, we are all gamblers in the medical game - first we try not to hurt someone, and then we take our best guess as to what will do the most good while minimizing the downside), it's just in a different form.

HUDs guidance memo does state if the disability is not readily apparent you may request proof from a "physician, psychiatrist, social worker, or a mental health professional."

We have physicians who can not get a primary mortgage because of student loan. 

If not, people might just say they need to smoke "medical mari" for treatment and cannot show you the actual medical mari prescription. 

:)On a side note, did anyone else find it offensive that they are asking about whether you're pregnant, and requiring a letter from a physician?! 

Resisting the urge to lurk the forums and jumping right in, I'm a physician in Brooklyn, NY presently splitting my time b/w a W-2 hospital job and my own practice.

One reason for this I believe, is the fact that many doctors/physicians live rather far (over 30 min drive) from their workplace, so targeting them by location isn't reaching the audience I intend to reach.  

I was curious what people thought about my plan to house hack with physician loans and move every two years while keeping every property to acquire 4-5 properties by the time I’m 35.
