Hey all,I just wanted to start a thread showcasing the struggles and tactics of beginning to begin your real estate journey using my experiences, as they unfold, to explain through personal examples how anyone can push through the stressful anxiety of overwhelming drive to accomplish the steps necessary to traverse the trail on your path to success.I am not a successful investor.....yet. 

Personal education and improvement is essential for the success of your future endeavors, however, too much of anything can be bad for you.There are two sides of the sword with self education, on one sharpened side the benefit helps to alleviate the stress and anxiety of not knowing.

I hate the anxiety with the late rent payments - which is why my late fees are rather high.I'd recommend letting her ride through the holidays (but keep charging the late fees and etc.), then giving her that 30-day notice to vacate in February or so - get a good tenant in there.My other suggestion is raising your late fees, so at least you're being property compensated for the hassle.

I have been filled with anxiety for the past three days and it is emotionally exhausting.  

Cannot believe the mental battle and adjustment I have, and am still going through.It's amazing how our minds are entrenched in fear, anxiety, false security etc.  

I am the kind of person that tends to go blank for the first couple of minutes until I start to feel comfortable - I guess I suffer from tiny bit of anxiety.

I like the idea but they make the STR idea more of a vanity project than about ROI...which actually just triggered my anxiety because I kept wanting to yell "IS THE INCREASE IN RENT PRICE GOING TO BE PROPORTIONAL TO THE COST OF THAT BATHROOM UPGRADE?!

I most likely have (undiagnosed) depression and anxiety.

I didn't mean to induce any anxiety with my original response to you, but seeing how this is a long-term hold, just looking out for the structural longevity of your investment (you don't want to be shelling out even more money down the road, if this can be fixed relatively cheap right now).
