I have forgotten about that rule of thumb.

By the time I finished, I had forgotten the stuff I learned earlier in the course.  

Now, agreed I'm no pro but I disagree with you when you say "If you have not operated a business before what makes you think you can do this" perhaps you have forgotten that many of us (including the very successful ones who never owned a business) started from somewhere.

But Sally, who google-searched essentially the exact same question as Joe and is in California where I'm licensed... she finds my post because it was linked to or quoted in some blog I've never heard of, reads my answer, and boom picks up her cell phone immediately and calls me to talk about some guideline I mentioned in some post I made six months ago that I'd completely forgotten about.
