A power cable ran down from the pole to the ground at an angle, and the overgrown walkway to the door actually led you right under the power cable, brushing by the power pole!

Several years ago when a new survey was done on their property and the property next door, it was revealed that my parents propane gas tank (which was already in place when my parents bought the property) and part of the walkway (ditto) is encroaching upon the neighboring lot.

This usually only causes maintenance trouble down the line because the paint traps water up against the brick.Also, landscaping trim up the bushes, maybe some plantings along the bottom of the buildings.Lastly, what about a low white fence in front of the grass extending from each building to the center walkway.

.- Landscaping, add nice garden up front, trim trees, remove overgrown vines from house siding- Remove old walkway and replace with new right angle walkway to driveway instead of street- Fix up front porch, new concrete probably- Repair any problem siding- Flooring has some unevenness, joists in crawl space/basement need to be added or adjusted.- Exterior paint, interior paint - HVAC and water heater appear new, roof appears new- Interior has some water stain marks, replace drywall patches- Replace kitchen with modern cabinets, granite, appliances- Oak floors downstairs hopefully can be refinished- Replace carpet upstairs with composite flooring or nice carpet - stairs are carpeted!

.- Potential space to move laundry into upstairs bathroom closet vs basement - Can maybe get away with toilet/vanity replacement in each bathroom- Uncertain if painting or replacing cabinets with ikea type is worth it- Any in-ceiling lighting will cause a disaster with electrical since it is out of date- Repave/fix concrete front porch and side porch - replace/paint railing- Replace front walkway cement, or remove walkway and replace with right angled walk to driveway (may not provide ROI)- Tear down vs paint garage port in back yard
