If I had a limited budget I am buying a laminate floor that has a thicker base 10-12mm than an LVP floor that is 3mm.

You must use thicker/higher quality laminate for a rental. 4mm is only suitable for light duty.

Some fans are just thicker than others, but sometimes the fan is installed with a longer downrod than it really needs.Before the 1980s sometime, ceiling fans were not common in new builds around here (Kansas City) - the outlet box for the bedroom light might not have enough support for a fan.

Double glass is usually sufficient as opposed to triple glass (depending on weather and noice conditions), but I would recommend a thicker glass (usually it is 3mm, but upgrading to 4mm glass would not cost much more and it would provide better insulation and resistance to accidental breakage).if you need any more info, just ask

And around here cost was $39 a square foot while the tile came in at under $10 s/f.The large tiles I used here are ker tiles(kertile.com) and because of the large size they are much thicker than a smaller tile.

I always try to find one, or a couple, specific details in each rental unit that can be a bit "special" above the baseline necessities, such as stainless steel appliances, gravel/bark for landscaping, a thicker trim and nice trim/wall paint contrast, a better grade of carpet, or a brand new front door.
