Dean makes some good points, but I think most of what was said was done so in jest.

However, you are trying to compare the appreciation rates of Ohio to San Diego (San Diego appreciation ranked by Neighborhood Scout as a 10 in the nation and most people are aware of its appreciation history) is such that I thought maybe your post was in jest. 

So to add value and comedic relief to the blog area here, I've come up with the concept of "Jest & Jaded": a satirical, biographical, sometimes fictional take on my real estate experiences. 

(I jest, as I can go month to month at my current property for a LARGE amount of $$...which I would NOT want to pay).I moved in at the end of March, so I paid a prorated amount for those 6 days I lived in the apartment in March; therefore, I believe my lease will officially be up in April.

That's great advice, even if it is said in jest. 

Assuming a loan IMO is a more difficult process than getting a new loan as servicing companies jest are not set up to do qualified assumptions.

And, while borrowing against your stock position may be useful, I am alarmed to hear that you think this is the solution for all your problems, and hope that this is in jest.
