Hello BP Community!

My name is Joe Vignolo. I'm a native Northern Californian and a broadcast journalist by day (and a lot of nights). But there's a problem: I'm tired of trading my time for money. Most of my career has been spent working odd hours -- overnights, late shows, etc. I've missed out on a decade of fun. I'm usually at work while my friends are at happy hour, or a nice dinner on a Friday night. It's time for that to change. 

So what I'm really looking for is freedom, and I know REI can be the vehicle that gets me there. I am inexperienced, but ready to learn and grow. Now before you write me off, I will mention that I do have some sales experience. Used cars count, right? 

I've been glued to this site for the past week...reading, reading, reading. It's really amazing how much information is here, just a few keystrokes away. I'm looking forward to connecting with all of you and hopefully we can help each other find financial freedom.

@Joseph Vignolo Yes I am planning to start wholesaling in the bay area. Specifically I will look in San Francisco and spread out from there depending how much of a market there is. I think that the hardest part in doing wholesaling is being able to talk to a seller or doing cold calls. I would definitely join up with @J. Martin is an amazing person who is very down to earth and I would definitely try and make it out to his REI meetups! If you ever want to head out to REI meetups let me know and we can lurk together. LOL
