It’s important to understand this because this is why the seller’s realtor will try to get you to buy the house through them (if you’re not already working with a realtor - they aren’t allowed to poach) - if they represent both the buyer and seller, they get 6%!

That's your down payment assistance homebuyer profile, basically (with rare exceptions, including recent college grads) the program lets me poach renters from landlords, tenants who would otherwise, if not for DPA programs, be tenants for life.In your case, if you are a Realtor, selling houses (I briefly glanced at your profile), and managing your finances well, that shouldn't describe you.
