@Russell Brazil  EXACTLY  a high wage earner making 40k a month can buy a million dollar home and pay 4 to 5k a month in mortgage or even 10k a month and still be at 25% or way less . many areas homes simply are not that much more than 1 mil.. its when you move down in the values that the ratios go up..
