Now that I have acquired 7 units, I thought I might immerse in this great community. 

Buy a rental, find a S8 tenant, sign a lease, submit paper work to the housing authority, wait for inspection, fail inspection, fix issues and schedule next inspection, pass inspection, move tenant in, done.There, I just taught you how to do it :-)  thats was my gameplay :)

Right now my focus is simply to learn all I can and connect with people who are immersed in this world.

Now it’s all about taking those first steps and immersing yourself in the real estate world.

There is so much here at BP, you can immerse yourself for ages.

While immersing yourself in various aspects of the field may enhance your understanding, a developer doesn't need to embody all the roles he/she hires.
