Since purchasing the home, housing market in my area has declined about 20%.

Consider house hacking when rates and prices are a little more balanced with reality.

We then purchased 2 houses for investment purposes.

Many Texas cities are incentivizing developers to build affordable housing units, but challenges remain around keeping these homes accessible long-term.
