I wish I knew why.If you have an iPhone, I have not received complaints, nor have I complained about the headphones with microphone that come with the iPhone.

Wear headphones or ear plugs, turn on a radio for background noise, etc.

Then once you go to class you can put in some headphones and listen to the podcast.

Maybe get some noise-canceling headphones?
