Burner Phones in Canada for Real Estate Wholesaling

Can someone educate me on this particular topic? I am not well versed when it comes to phone technicalities. 

I was advised to get a phone that is separate from my personal... What does that mean? How do I get a phone that is untraceable or doesn't reveal my information? Thank you.
