It was public knowledge that the city was going to acquire a railroad right-of-way, remove the RR spurs and connect a greenway right behind the property.

Raleigh has plenty of restaurants and breweries (as do neighboring towns such as Durham), as well as greenways and hiking.

The insurance broker I used was Greenway Insurance in Warner Robins, GA.  

Greensboro is one of the better transit hubs in NC, between the Airport, Amtrak, Public bus, and new Bike path cover all of Greensboro called the Greensboro Greenway is under construction.

It's on 7th St and Greenway 3/2 1550 sq ft with a pool on 15,000 sq ft lot.
