I'm in a similar situation as you, hailing from the Boston - New England area and looking into out-of-state investments.

Another option is to come home to New England but Boston is getting pretty hot too.

@Nathan Kurz - I don't know any RV investors in Austin, but one of my partners owns over 500 pads in the Northeast, primarily New England.

@Josh Banwart As @David Pere mentioned, I'm currently stationed in England and investing in the states via multiple different strategies, so I would love to hop on a call and talk to you about it if you'd like.

I am considering the New England market for my relocation and need to decide whether I should consider a 1031 replacement property in those areas or in another state.

I’m looking around New England, NH lakes region, white mounts, skiing. 

@Jaekwan Lee Not sure where you’re located or how applicable this will be but as I live in northern New England this is a big concern for me.

@John Su I live in northern New England where there is lots of snow and on any multi family property the landlord typically takes care of snow removal.

My partner and I now find ourselves in a strong financial position to start our RE investing journey and have set our sights in New England, specifically Rhode Island due to the excellent natural environment and our desire to ultimately relocate there long-term. 

Personally I love the New England market and think the future for growth and appreciation is huge.
