maintenance for rentals in places with snow

John Su
Posted

We have rentals in places that do not snow but are thinking of investing in Columbus, a place that gets snow every year.  What types of "extra" major maintenance is needed in places with snow?  is it typical to pay for snow removal?  are there any other types of maintenance / things that break more easily due to snow?

The major things we deal with currently in non-snow rentals are just hvac, roof, foundation.

Thanks!

I normally just leave out salt for my tenants. Unless you have an apartment complex you should not need to take care of the snow for them
