Ok so a diff path then my previous post.I also wanted to invest in real estate but just assume( and bet is probably true) that most of the people that find truly good investments have  either or all of the following the most "average joes" don't:1.

I'm fairly new in the industry as well, and most of the sources I've checked at first require a subscription (CoStar, WSJ), but I found this newsletter called Zeroflux Real Estate who consolidate real estate news from such sites.

We do want to settle in a little bit here while continuing to do our homework, but hope to get into something in the next 6-12 months.With the way interest rates are looking now and what little I see on public listings, I think a smaller multi-family that needs a little rehab would be the best bet. 

Suggest you go to their site, there is approx 7 videos for you to watch to see if you want to go to the next step. 

That means that you will need to get those particular ducks in a row before you get rolling.Also, sites like Taskrabbit.com has a lot of folks on there that can help get things put together, setup the spaces etc.

That’s the best bet.

Both upset the same mechanisms (same brand, matching models).The camera option may be the best bet.  

Again, you’ve probably thought of these, but those are likely your best bet.

There are plenty of sites you can bid the vertical work through.
