Its normally fee service providers who are the greatest advocates of the program, whether it be agents, PM's, coaches/gurus. 

FDIC means teh Bank is the one underwriting the loan and funding the loan and in most cases they hold/service the mortgaege. 

Pick a screening platform/application that makes sense for you.As for meeting the applicants, I recommend meeting them at the property to show the place to them rather than getting coffee or food with them.

We know of a bunch of the servicers but curious of others have servicers they prefer.

We add up the scores and get a total score that reflects the level of risk the applicant presents.

This criteria happens to pretty much exclude all S8 applicants. 

I'm using a property management software (TurboTenant) for rental applications and screening reports, and they charge each prospective tenant $45 for this service.However, the Wisconsin State Legislature states that the landlord can only charge the actual cost of a credit report (up to $25).

I also know nothing about Apartments.com scoring specifically, but I'd probably group the report in with other similar application services like Zillow
