I would like to be informed about the section 8 program. What do you think about this program? How does it work?

A friend years ago had over 40 inner city rowhouses. The type of the neighborhoods where his properties were located didn't fit in with my plan but he did well and the purchase costs were low. One thing he used to do was hand-deliver the application to them so he could see how they kept their house. Not sure if that is still legal or even translates in today's world of everything online but seemed like a good screening tool to me at the time.
