I don't know much about airplanes but I still fly.

I suppose it may work if you have a burning desire to do it.my partner in my airplane is doing something similar in Oregon he started a tiny homes manufacturing company ( making his own) and he owns a nice chunk of properly zoned dirt in Oregon 10 acres .. its worth about 3 million as it sits.. but he is going to sell the tiny homes then do 50 year leases on the under lying dirt so in essence create his own park as it were.But he has the Dinero to follow his whims and social desires of creating affordable housing for the mass's. 

And that largely depends on the need for a certain type of transport airplane. 

LOL that one floored meI had opportunity over the years to do some yacht loans and I thought no way they sail off to the carib and they are gone.. same with Airplanes..

While technically I could hire the salesman I bought my car from to help me buy an airplane, I obviously wouldn't.

@Justin Thiesse  those work very well in the right spot and if you can build them efficiently. in some areas and I don't know yours.. but some developers went high end on the storage.kind of like building airplane hangers ( the best rental ever LOL)they built high end for those that have expesnive car habit want a shop to tinker.. need to park their million dollar motor home.. want to build a man cave away from the house..you should see what some folks do to their aircraft hangers.. there should be a reality show on that some pretty awesome ones I have been in.. our is just a hanger..

cirrus Owners and pilots association  and a Cirrus is a single engine airplane  there is a member that either has your same name or your picture or darn near exact name and picture..

I would just buy gas for our airplane and go local  :))
