Plus I was tired of HW heaters either failing, bursting with leaking water everywhere or just not efficient enough to supply enough HW for the tenants.The NG units have all been in 7+ years & are easy to maintain with a simple 20 minute back-flush annually, whereas the recommended draining/flush of a conventional HW tank is an inconvenient PITA.At our Lakehouse I went ALL electric & while rewiring the home I upgraded the panel & went with 200amps.
