You hear a lot of stories of people that have done that but A) There are probably 1,000 people that fail for every success story and B) They often don't actually own the property they're talking about but 'control'' it and it is actually owned by a wealthy investor of theirs.I say none of this to discourage you.

The wealthy don't really die, they live on through their charitable foundations sponsoring non-profits, schools, hospitals, PBS, etc.

You might be independently wealthy sooner with leverage but if you don't sleep and have health problems from stress, it's not worth it.The other thing is you are young, that's good and bad.

If they don't make enough money to pay for employees, software, and some profit on top then it won't be long before they decide to get a job that doesn't involve putting up with your tenants so you can get wealthy while they do all the work and live a mediocre life.I'm building wealth with my PM company, but most of my Landlords are doing better because they hired me instead of the wanna-be down the street that charges 8% but doesn't know what they're doing.
