I've found it helpful in connecting with various real estate professionals...agents seem to be the ones most likely to be on there...self promotion and all.There is an interesting group -- overall opinion still undecided -- called OpenMLS that has a group on Facebook as well as in SecondLife.

I've been listening to Wholesaling Inc. podcasts recently and they heavily promote their TTP (talk to people) program and cold-calling.

(I have no affiliation with Veterans United or military.com, and I am not promoting them, but they have some good general info about VA loans at the links above)

There are lots of people promoting deceit and dishonesty in the "wholesaling" space.
