We ended up selling it to an investor in Australia, who didn't have a clue how to manage properties in Detroit and therefore, our once nice homes are now destroyed, burned down, abandoned, and an eye sore.

We just ripped out the entire kitchen flooring/hallway on a new purchase for the same reason.We found the plywood underneath still damp even though the laminate had dried out & they had used the recommended underlay.It was a full days work, two very sore knees & $425 to replace it with a better product.

My guess is he took the biggest eye sore of a home in the neighborhood and turned it into the most eye catching home AND made some money.

That is something you have a choice over in your life.A positive way is exercising, having healthy hobbies etc.Destructive is addictive type problems like over eating, drinking, smoking, social disorders, doing drugs, compulsive gambling, infidelity etc.

Anyways if it's just between the Tenant and Me, I can take the pain but my latest drama filled episode has now drawn the attention of the Condo Association.My Tenant decided to go knock on the neighbors door, what followed is a grey area but the neighbor called the police got all freaked out my tenant gets arrested for disorderly conduct.

I'm not a psychologist and can't help a person with a hoarding disorder, but I would try to protect my property from further damage if I could do that by offering the person an easy out. 

And the El Dorado Lakes Golf Community has one less eye sore in the neighborhood.
