It's also helpful to interview a few candidates to see who you feel most comfortable with in terms of understanding your goals and who can offer practical advice tailored to your investment strategy.Make sure to ask about their experience with real estate investors, their fee structure, and whether they have dealt with setting up similar business structures.

And if someone is very successful in real estate they would not have time to mentor someone, especially someone they do not know and do not interview to judge if they think they are a right fit (and just take your money)

I have a list of good questions you can have to interview a PM Co. 

I would recommend interviewing a few lenders to find the best options and ask them for recommendations on a Realtor and inspectors.

In order for your license to be active, you need to find a Brokerage to work under, so reach out to several and start interviewing them.
