But you are correct that I would need to make sure all of the heat is not escaping. 

I just know that I for sure want to have a couple of warm locations in our portfolio (Scottsdale and Fort Meyers areas in particular) where we can escape and play a little golf when its snowy at home!

You cannot escape US federal income tax so long as you are a US citizen.

I am the owner and that’s part of the deal.I do think that it is incredibly awful and hypocritical of Homeaway/VRBO to be actively be pushing trip insurance to every renter, for just these such occasions, and they have apparently found some escape hatches in their policies and are NOT reimbursing guests for CV related cancellations.  

So should I be discounting these dates nicely to try to get refilled or maybe leave them higher as families with no school are looking to escape to the woods? 

It was the epitome of that never ending personal dilemma that seem to imply no escape because of mutually conflicting/dependent circumstances.

There is also a large influx of Californians who are escaping high taxes and outrageous cost of living.
