My question is: If the HOA changes the bylaws to ban smoking (which they plan to vote on), and the lease held by the smoking tenant only specifies no smoking "within the unit," is there any legal recourse for the smoking tenant?

Hi all,  I'm in the early stages of planning a development of a lot I own in SE Portland. 

The markets open up if you are not planning on doing the management yourself.There are many markets that are growing in population and jobs throughout the country if you are willing to look at OOS investing. 

I've lived there for all of a week, and am already planning on moving out in a month or two.
