Spartanburg alone has Wofford, USC Upstate, Converse, Spartanburg Methodist, Spartanburg Community College, VCOM, and Sherman College of Chiropractic.  

Because they are not "Doctors" yet, they don't have a Medical License(State Boards/AMA are verified in some ways, because they check out applicants).  

He owns Wood Doctors and is a very good carpenter.
