It also provides an example in which it argues that it would be unfair to deny a couple of adults and their infant renting a one-bedroom apartment, but it would not be unfair to deny the same request from a family of two adults and a teenager.So, in your case, denying renting a one-bedroom apartment to a family of 4 would not violate fair housing laws provided your occupancy policy is to restrict the number of occupants to two.And I think this HUD publication really addressed the same issue you raise between the infant and the teenager. 

I am looking for any advice on how to prepare for such a career as a teenager; whether it be books to read, articles, ways to get more experience, or tips on skills and habits to develop.

The one I had was 12 people showed up for an 8 person max pool cabin.  4 adults ladies and 8 teenage girls - all with long hair.  

Next time you see a group of teenage girls, look out for pants that stop at the calf, and a waste that's so high it covers their belly button -- oh, look, it's 1982 again.

We will switch to decor; it modernizes the look at low cost (my teenage handyman crew can do this easy).

When my teenage daughter gets text messages and phone calls all the time about our rental properties, it gets a little annoying.
