For some reason it is not considered a legal duplex and instead is considered a SFH with a in law. 1 unit is renting for 1400/month which would be the deal maker in this situation however since its a in law my lender says they cant use this income to help me qualify for the FHA loan.

This may be good enough for our purposes here, but according to EPA these sealants tend to wear out a few years down the road and radon will creep up again even though the makers and sellers of these products state it's a permanent fix.
