I feel bad for little Rupert with his little, small $80k downpayment blowing it on a third ward airbnb and asking why his occupancy rate is sub 60% being managed by someone who has 10 units in the area and 4 are theirs, so obvious preference and conflict of interest.

It's a conflict of interest when they want more so their commission will be higher but you need to get the price as low as possible so the deal makes sense.
