They have to pay the liens off in order to exercise their right to the property and only have a set period of time to do so before they have to abandon their rights.

I would declare the tenancy and left over personal belongings abandoned according to your state law and get it re-rented to a better tenant!

There are two houses like that on the block next to me, apparently abandoned and I had it checked out.One such house was built in 1920, and in recent years the property was had names added to the deed.

Baltimore City is a little rough in the sense of the number of abandoned buildings but I know of a couple of neighborhoods where Investors are concentrating.
