Unless of course you save up major for all the difference.I think you should hold on to your FHA loan a little longer than a year and when you have 6 to 12 months in reserves execute the VA purchase.Also consider a conventional loan for 3% down.

There are many that bought 2 years ago or a year ago, thinking it was one of those opportunities, only to find further retraction of prices.Anyone who bought two years ago and is getting positive cash flow, has their tenants paying down their mortgage, was able to resell for a profit, etc, executed on a great buying opportunity.
