I use electronic signature software (among other useful technology) in my business everyday.

If your town doesn't have that or a big technology companies supplying jobs chances are long term the value of your investment will not do well, in my opinion, and Jeff's it seems.Those who are putting faith in Uber's driverless cars saving the rural areas I think are wrong.  

With the recent crowdfunding rules sourcing money globally has become easier because technology can link small issuers to the BD community who can help with items like this.  

These days people are savvy and comfortable using technology.  

Technological guy is taking over everything so be involved with it as much as you can.  

With technology becoming so advanced to the instant gig-economy, where does that leave retail real estate?

I'm in project management, I find the appropriate contractors and then manage projects, use technology to its fullest, and help with team building, etc.  

We use great GC's and oversee the process, manage the flow of information and use alot of technology to keep remote investors connected to their projects.  

Also, with Responsive Websites that allow you rent and make payments from your smartphone, coupled with the many new technologies for Facility access, we're seeing them used less frequently.
