I work in the dental laboratory field which has not panned out as well as it has in other cities but I am hopeful with the amount of like minded individuals within this site I can create real success. 

You can go the cleat & plywood route quite inexpensively - to make it look nicer, tack dental molding or other trim that matches the style of the house to the front of the plywood.

In addition I am in a syndication that has several commercial, and medical dental properties.

Paint the mantle, maybe trim it out with a little dental if you want to go nuts, and do the rub on the brick so that it gives it that distressed look.

So this is my dilemma: I have no money at all right now since I'm a full-time dental student living off of student loans, so at this time I'm in no rush to start investing.

It would be like building nursing homes or dental offices.
