Although interchangeable terminology they are entirely different.Mobile homes have extremely high maintenance costs due primarily to their construction and age.Manufactured homes, built in a factory assembled on site, are better built than stick built homes. 

It has been gradually increasing since the assembly line was first created.

I am now at a point where I am ready to start assembling a team to begin finding and flipping homes in the area.  

Of course, if you are going the self-assembled team route (as opposed to full-service turnkey), there is the possibility that one of the cogs in your machine fails - your contractor bails or under quotes, your PM drops the ball - and you have to take a last minute flight to do damage control and find replacements.

@Phillip Vaughan I'll second what @Ali Boone said - if you're going the self-assembled team route (choosing an agent, a contractor, a PM) for a long-distance investment, you'll likely end up with more work than you bargained for.

Fourth, Assemble your real-time re agent, lawyer, banker, contractors, etc.

@Maverick Pate]I'm investigating the exact same thing.Some companies will send you these homes, with various sizes, pre-assembled.

H&R and all the other tax shops like them are pretty much an assembly line for returns, they aren't getting involved in "tax planning" or financial performance much less financial analysis.  

Looking further into it I realized the structure is not assembled and doesn't include siding, roofing or the door.
